Frequently Asked
What is the free introductory call?
A 20-minute conversation to meet Jahnavi, ask questions, explore common misconceptions and learn how she approaches therapy. She also explains fees and next steps. It is an introduction, not a full therapy session.
Who are sessions for?
Jahnavi works with adults aged 18–65, offering individual, couples and parenting support in English, Hindi and Gujarati. If your needs call for medical assessment or more specialised care, she refers to an appropriate professional.
Do I have to do homework?
No. Reflections and exercises between sessions are optional. They offer a way to practise or think further about what you explore together.
What if I feel nervous about starting?
It is understandable to feel nervous. You do not need the right words or have to share everything at once. You can begin at your pace and ask questions during the introductory call.
What happens in the first session?
The first session is a space for us to get to know each other. Your therapist will ask about what brings you in, your background, and what you’re hoping to work on. There’s no pressure to share everything at once — we go at your pace.
How long does therapy take?
Everyone’s needs and pace are different. Discuss your initial goals with Jahnavi, then revisit them together as the work progresses. There is no guaranteed timeline or outcome.
Is everything I share confidential?
Keep your initial enquiry brief and avoid sending clinical records or identity documents by email. Before starting therapy, ask the practitioner to explain session confidentiality, how care records are handled and any limits to confidentiality.
Read the privacy policy →Do you offer online sessions? Where are you located?
Individual, couples and parenting sessions are available by video, phone or in person in Ahmedabad for adults aged 18–65. If you are outside India, share your location and time zone so the practice can confirm whether sessions are available to you before you book.
Do I need an account or the app to get started?
No. This website is open for information and enquiries. Client and practitioner portals are planned for a later launch. You can contact the practice directly now; there is no online account, quiz, booking or payment required to enquire.
